Social steganography

n. A social-network status update that hides its true meaning within innocuous text.
Kids often conceal important friends-only messages using song lyrics that have meaning to friends-but not parents.


Wordquake

n. A word or phrase (usually suggested by a major news event) that erupts and ripples through the blogosphere and social media, mimicking the pattern of an earthquake and its aftershocks.
